Obtained from the cold pressing of prickly pear fruit seeds, this oil is quite simply due to its composition, the vegetable oil which contains the most vitamin E (100 mg of vitamin E per 100 grams of oil). Known as tocopherol, vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that will neutralize free radicals (molecules responsible for skin aging). Its role is therefore to protect the cells of the body by fighting against skin aging. But this excellent oil is also the richest in sterols (1000 mg of sterols per 100g of oil). Sterols have this particularity to help the skin to regenerate, it is for this reason that they have anti-wrinkle and healing benefits, especially against chapping and scarring due to acne. They fight and help maintain the barrier function of the skin. The skin is thus protected, toned and more supple.

• Antioxidant: Vitamin E and sterols are antioxidant compounds that help fight free radicals in the body. There are nearly 100 mg of vitamin E per 100 g of oil and 1000 mg of sterols, Argan in comparison contains only 60 and 130 mg respectively. Coupled with essential fatty acids, these compounds are perfect for fighting the signs of skin aging.
• softening, nourishing, moisturizing: Prickly pear seed oil is exceptionally rich in omega 6 which allows it to regenerate the hydrolipidic film of the skin. This oil is softening, it allows to maintain the elasticity of the skin. It can be used on the face but also on the whole body and hair.
• healing, regenerating skin: Prickly pear seed oil is composed of nearly 60% unsaturated fatty acids, essential fatty acids not synthesized by the body and which it is important to obtain from the outside.
